TGG crystal
Terbium gallium garnet (Tb3Ga5O12, TGG) crystals have large magneto-optical constants, low optical losses, high thermal conductivity, and high laser damage thresholds, and are widely used in multi-level amplification, ring, and seed injection lasers such as YAG and Ti doped sapphire. TGG single crystal is the optimal magneto-optical material for making Faraday rotators and isolators, with suitable wavelengths ranging from 400 to 1100nm (excluding 470 to 500nm)
